BBC Radio 2 has announced that actor and musician Hugh Laurie is to present a new six part series, Hugh Laurie's Blues Changes, from September 23.

Each week Laurie will look at the influence of blues on popular music and perform a song with his Copper Bottom Band. As part of the station's new schedule, Sara Cox also hosts Sounds Of The 80s weekly from October 5 and Jo Whiley's show is extended to two hours.
